Ik wil jullie graag uitnodigen deel te nemen aan de German Classics van 23 tot 25 augustus in Laboe bij Kiel op de Baltische Zee. De German Classics zijn een onderdeel van de International Friendship serie voor houten klassieke 12voetsjollen.
Tijdens de German Classics zullen naast de grote klassieke jachten ook kleine bootjes als Finn jollen en Piraten meedoen. Voor een indruk van de sfeer zie de wedstrijden van 2012 in onderstaande links.

We zullen een korte baan zeilen, de organisatie zal de 12voetsjollen apart starten.
Tijdens de twaalfvoetsjollenvergadering in Loosdrecht zal ik een toelichting geven.
Helaas lukt mij dat niet in de Nederlandse taal, in het Engels of Duits kan wel.
Het Duitse organisatie committee is blij een echte klassieker als de 12voetsjol te kunnen begroeten. Als bijboot voor grote jachten, horen we bij zo'n klassiek evenement te zijn en uiteraard ook omdat we bijna 100 jaar bestaan. Het evenement zal op de zondag eindigen met een gezamenlijk ontbijt. Er zullen op twee avonden feesten zijn met live muziek. Het programma voor 2013

Laboe en Kiel zullen ook aantrekkelijk zijn voor de aanhang. Voor hen zal een apart programma worden georganiseerd door mijn vrouw Annette. Informatie over accomodaties volgt zo spoedig mogelijk.

Dear 12 Foot Dingy Friend,
I would like to invite you to take part in the German Classics from 23rd to 25th August 2013 in Laboe near Kiel on the Baltic Sea. The German Classics is part of the International Friendship Serie for classic wooden dinghys, to which the old Breedendam Dinghys also belong.
At the German Classics also other „little boats“ such as Finndinghy or Pirat will start with the large classic yachts.
We will have a short course and a separate start. The organization committee is very happy to see us in Laboe, because we as a tender for the big yachts we belong to them and because of our 100th anniversary in 2013. The races will take place on
Friday and Saturday and the event will end on Sunday with a breakfast. There will also be two evening events with live music. This year’s programm under:
Laboe and Kiel are also attractive for the accompanying Ladies. Look at the beautiful view you have from Laboe across the Kieler Förde. I will mailing suggestions for accommodation early enough.
