The second international Friendship event of 2026 will be held at De Kaag over the Whitsun weekend of 23–25 May 2026.
Registration is open to dinghy enthusiasts with a classic wooden dinghy in accordance with the Dutch class rules. De Kaag has been a household name among all international 12-foot dinghy sailors for many years. This year, in addition to many Dutch enthusiasts, we are again expecting dinghy sailors from Germany, Belgium, France, England and Ireland.

There are various hotels in the immediate vicinity. If you are coming with a camper van or tent, there is space next to the Kaag Societeit. This event has been a highlight of the sailing season for many years and is one you really won’t want to miss. It is the second Friendship event of 2026. The first took place on the Baldeneysee near Essen, Germany. See report and pictures.
The third Friendship event of 2026 will take place sometime in July. Potential venues are De Bocht in Belgium and Lac des Settons in France. Suggestions are always welcome.
